Barbarella Home was founded in 2013 by Michael DeSantis and Barbara Collins. Prior to that, Michael operated a wholesale vintage furniture and accessories business for more than 30 years, supplying exclusive retail establishments in New York City. Barbara spent more than 8 years working as a design consultant at ABC Carpet and Home in the 1990s, before leaving to work as an interior design consultant for private clients.

Barbarella Home mainly features 20th-century modern design. Our primary focus is on design that is both interesting and unusual. We like to push boundaries and strive to strike a balance between timeless classics and the unexpected. We service interior designers, architects, set decorators, prop rental companies, and the commercial interiors and retail markets. Our design office is located in New York City, and we have an extensive inventory in our 23,000-square-foot warehouse in upstate New York.
