Barbarella Home was founded in 2013 by Michael DeSantis and Barbara Collins. Before that, Michael operated a wholesale vintage furniture and accessories business for more than 30 years, supplying exclusive retail establishments in New York City. Barbara spent more than 8 years as a design consultant at ABC Carpet and Home in the 1990s before leaving to consult on interior design for private clients. Together, Michael and Barbara bring decades of experience and complementary perspectives to a collection that balances timeless design with the unexpected.
